Upon announcing his campaign for the presidency, Senator Robert F. Kennedy famously said he was entering the race not to oppose any one candidate but to propose new proactive public policy.  Forty two years later, I find myself running for Louisville’s Metro Council for the very same reason. This year’s election is presenting our community with the rare opportunity to elect fresh leaders who want to work together towards a bright future for the entire metro area.
